45º MITER

Stone Dynamics can miter tiles at a precise angle.

Exact mitering allows for a seamless tile edge or angle.

LAMINATED MITER

Laminated miter provides a chunky, square finish to the tile edge. This is a very versatile edge and the length of the drop face can be altered for a different look.

FULL BULLNOSE

The finish has a fully rounded edge that is rounded at the top and the bottom of the tile.

LAMINATED FULL BULLNOSE

A strip of the same tile is cut and laminated to the underside of the edge of a tile. This finish has a chunky, fully rounded edge which can also create a small overhang.

HALF BULLNOSE

A half Bullnose profile is rounded on the top edge of a tile only.

LAMINATED HALF BULLNOSE

A strip of the same tile is cut and laminated to the underside of a half bullnosed edge. The front face is then polished so no seam is visible at all. This profile lends itself to a more prominent look for Coping and Porcelain tops.

BEVEL EDGE

A Bevel edge is a surface which lies at some angle other than perpendicular to the material surface which gives a sleek, angled look.

LAMINATED BEVELED EDGE

A strip of the same tile is cut and laminated to the underside of a bevelled edge. The front face is then polished so no seam is visible at all. This profile takes the sharp edge away and gives a chunky, angled look.

COPING

Pool coping can be made from the same tiles as your pool pavers which gives a seamless, elegant and uniform look. Use Laminated Bullnose, Laminated Half Bullnose or Mitering to finish the edge. A Mitered edge gives a choice of how long the drop face will be. Planters at the pool can also be of the same tile and finish.

GROOVES

Grooves can be cut into tiles for showers, paving and stair treads. There is a choice of the number of grooves required as well as the depth of either 2.4 or 5mm.

STAIR TREADS

Using grooves on Stair treads do away with the need for vinyl, rubber or metal stair nosing as the grooves create a non-slip finish. Any edge, e.g. Laminated Mitre or Laminated Bullnose, can be added to enhance your staircase.

MOSAICS

With our specialized equipment and skills, we can create flawless mesh mounted mosaics sheets. The maximum tile thickness is 20mm.
